I’m currently studying Cognitive Science with a specialization in Design and Interaction and a minor in Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego.
I initially pursued a pre-medical path with the goal of becoming a doctor, but my deep interest in design and cognitive science led me to transition into a career as a UX/UI designer, combining my passions for the best of both worlds.
Throughout my journey, I have been striving to craft captivating and engaging human interaction experiences. As previous pre-med and cognitive science student, I have been driven to accumulate knowledge in all areas involved with curating the human experience such as psychology, anthropology, neuroscience, AI, and philosophy.
I believe that my prior experience in studying and comprehending the human body has provided me with valuable insights into human functionality, attention, and interaction. As a result, I am able to apply this knowledge to design accessible, visually appealing, and engaging products. Now I continue to explore the world of product design and am currently looking for my next opportunity!

If you haven't been yet, San Diego has some of the best foodie spots. I thoroughly enjoy trying new resturants and cafes, as well as supporting small buisnesses in the area.
Having a genuine passion and enjoyment for the projects I take is my key priority. It is essential to find personal fulfillment in what I design, enabling me to wholeheartedly dedicate myself to each project I work on.
I firmly believe that embracing creativity and unconventional thinking is crucial for achieving optimal design solutions. One effective approach I employ is creating multiple lofi sketches and exploring even the most outlandish ideas. This enables me to uncover the best solution by thoroughly examining all possibilities.
However, it is equally important to adhere to some of the established conventions and boundaries in design, as certain designs have become a standard among users. It is essential to maintain these conventions as a valuable rule of thumb for UX design.
I strongly value the incorporation of diverse perspectives in my work, whether it involves conducting user testing or seeking input from my colleagues. Even when we believe we have created the most optimal design, it is crucial to recognize that obtaining external viewpoints is essential to truly assess our work.
