"
Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future.
" — Robert L. Peters

Hi, I'm Michelle.

I’m a UCSD alumni with a Bachelor’s in Human-Computer Interaction and a minor in Computer Science, and for the past 5 years I’ve been working in both design and development. I’ve worked on everything from mobile apps and desktop products to e-commerce redesigns, which basically means I spend a lot of time making sure things not only look good, but also don’t break when someone actually uses them.

My background spans product design, UX research, visual design, and front-end development, so I enjoy being involved in both the strategy and the execution. I care a lot about building experiences that not only look polished, but also feel intuitive and genuinely useful for the people using them.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the ice rink, behind a camera, or convincing myself I need to redesign my apartment for the fifth time. For me, design has never really been just a job. Design has always been a part of my everyday life, from photography, interior design to how I think.
